HUGE thanks to @lalifetimes for this shoutout. I’m always appreciative of support as I continue on this artistic path. 2021 was a transitional year full of lots of changes and even as a person who loves to be challenged, I too, can fall into patterns of comfort. In these past twelve months, I’ve let go of theatrical agents, signed with new theatrical agents @thewayneagency , started a partnership with @csp_mgmt @realtammyhunt , moved cross country twice, found empowerment in saying, “no” to projects not right for me, rediscovered the hobbies that excite me, embraced my sober life, listened intently to the wisdom of @leslykahn and acted on her advice, worked with amazing collaborators, and lastly, stepped into what I believe to be the two most powerful elements leading my life… service and kindness. Remember, small acts of kindness may actually be much larger to the ones receiving.
I don’t have children, but If I did, this commercial version of me as a mom, is how I would parent. “The world is your oyster. Everything is a piece of art. And If not, make it so”. Let’s all embrace our artistic instincts 🎨🎨🎭🎭🎨🎨🎭🎭 Truly enjoyed making this @ruggable ad with a lovely team which included @naknekfilms and @kelleygsk . Good people always make the difference.
Self-tape after self-tape after self-tape. I truly miss in-person auditions and actually interacting with casting directors, producers, writers, directors, but it sure is fun to create either way. And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE seeing a video audition that books me a job and how that translates to the final piece. Exactly one year ago today I adopted this giant ball of love from @vanderpumpdogs , a great rescue facility. He weighed 12 pounds at the time. I named him Bandit for obvious reasons. He has many nicknames: Bouche Bouche Bear Bandy BB Buhbuh Buddy El Bandito Dude Dew Piggy Wiggy Baby Babycakes Love Bug Dooter Dooter Scooter Chooter Booter He responds to any and all of the above.
