Nadine Velazquez Instagram – Confession: I cried when Valeria cried in last nights episode of @queensabc (a little weird right since I play Valeria? 🤷🏻‍♀️) and I cried many more times in this powerful episode directed by @sidside and written by @kyra.a.jones

Who can relate to fear of abandonment and all kinds of stupid behaviors we do when we wanna get close to someone but instead do the very opposite thing and basically punch them in the face?

Real talk- we can’t punch people in the face and expect them to love us. It’s not fair. It’s not love. And the shit has never worked. I know we think it’s love but yo… it’s not! Love is something you create by being loving not biting. We can hold space for people’s pain, we’re all dealing with shit, but at some point we gotta grow up. We gotta stop demanding others be loving when we aren’t willing to. That’s for toddlers and your partner isn’t your parent.
