This is happening now. Pay attention. Speak up. I can’t believe celebrities and influencers are posting about their latest success or newest bag when children, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters are being killed. While I realize that there is a limit to what social media can accomplish, I also think it can do much more than simply being a self serving platform. Ukraine I am praying for you Ukraine. #Ukraine #peaceforall
I do stand with Ukraine and the people there fighting for their country, their lives. I also stand with the Russian people risking their lives to protest the war in Russia. I’ll remind you all that this is my account. If you do not agree, you don’t have to follow me. I’ve always said that my account was for thoughtful conversation. Not hate. That remains true. Respect for each other is a good starting point. #istandwithukraine
I love these humans so much. They bring me light in darkness, they engage in critical conversations without holding back. They are filled with faith and that lifts me up and motivates me. @romadowney @chriscortazzo

Link in bio. While we are witnessing the bravery of Ukrainians, we are also bearing witness to the unimaginable burden of those who have chosen safety. Through GoFundMe, this fundraiser will provide an immediate impact on refugee and humanitarian aid efforts. The fund will benefit Flexport.org and Airbnb.org , two organizations who are actively on the ground providing immediate help to those who need it most. Flexport.org is organizing shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova. Airbnb.org is providing free, short-term housing to refugees fleeing Ukraine.

Day 6 of genocide in Ukraine. I was able to speak to my sister. The hardest conversation of my life. You don’t need to ask if they’re bombing, you can hear explosions and sirens in the background.
What do you say to someone you love when the bombs are falling on their head? they’re trying to schedule another peace talk? No. The whole world is with you? It clearly is not! So it’s I love you I love you I love you I love you a million times and the only response is- I love you, please take care of my son #ukraine #kharkiv #stopputinnow
Did we, have we done enough? The answer is no. Do more.
Reality for the people of Ukraine. I worry that we are becoming desensitized to it. Attention spans elsewhere but this is a war that impacts us ALL and requires us to show daily what Putin is doing. War crimes. Praying is not enough for the people of Ukraine. We must continue to tell their story of courage, bravery, strength. Tell the stories of families killed, hospitals bombed, children massacred…. Of lives forever ended or altered. I stand with Ukraine. #standwithukraine
The best picture of me ever.
I have been following @maksimc post (along with the news)and just in awe of the Ukrainian people and the Russian people saying no war. The will, determination, heroism of them is soul stirring in a massive way. Let’s keep lending our voices and support. And pray peace prevails. Repost from @maksimc

Remember the viral video of the little girl in Ukraine singing “Let It Go” in a bomb shelter? Seven year old Amelia Anisovych is now safely in Poland after fleeing Ukraine with her grandmother and siblings, and last night, she sang the Ukrainian national anthem in front of thousands of people at a special charity concert. A bright light in a devastatingly dark time. 💛💙

BE THE LEADER OF PEACE
(Reposting with captions)
In an address to Congress Wednesday morning, Ukraine’s President Zelenskyy appealed to the US to do more. He asked lawmakers to help Ukrainians establish a no fly zone by sending the aircraft to do it. “Russia has turned the Ukrainian sky into a source of death, for thousands of people. I need to protect our sky. I need your help,” he said. “ Aircraft that can help Ukraine, help Europe, you know that they exist, and you have them. But they are on Earth, not in Ukrainian sky. They do not defend our people.”
He recalled moments the US was attacked— Pearl Harbor and 9/11 — and drew on American idealism – the greatness of Mt Rushmore, the call to justice of the I Have a Dream Speech – to rouse the spirit of members of Congress to provide more support for his people as they try to rebuff the invading Russian Army.
His speech ended with a direct appeal to President Biden, in English, which you see in this video.

ZELENSKYY RECEIVES STANDING OVATION
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is pleading for help as Russia’s invasion continues.
Zelenskyy spoke before Canada’s Parliament today and begged Canada’s lawmakers to put themselves in his shoes. To imagine what they’d do and how’d they react if Vancouver was under attack. He told Parliament of the horrors in Ukraine right now, including the deaths of nearly 100 children.
Zelenskyy repeated his request for a no-fly zone above Ukraine. He’ll likely bring it up again when he addresses congress tomorrow. The U.S. has rejected the idea of a no-fly zone, out of fear it would cause a direct confrontation between the U.S. and Moscow.

DAY 6 UPDATE:
We’re more motivated than ever , and as we once again prove it takes a village we in under a week built a community of volunteers, a small but mighty family. And everyday it’s becoming bigger and bigger.
– We’ve finally been approved to start fundraising, and we are asking for your help. (Link in bio)
– 100% of this initiative is volunteer based and every penny of your generosity is going towards shipping costs. Everything else has been generously provided by our expending community.
– please check out the Amazon list & please donate what you can to our fundraiser (both in the link in bio)
We never expected this type of turn out or reaction, it’s blown us away really, but when there’s a will there’s a way, and together @baranova27 has shown there are tons of people out there still willing to help those in need. 💙💛
This was the picture sent to me of this poor animal for sale at @petco Clearly malnourished, with a cut on its side. @rachaelgoddarddesigns posted it and @jaimiegellerjewelry sent to me asking if I could help. I immediately texted Marc Ching at @animalhopeandwellness. Within 45 minutes, they had gone there and rescued this adorable animal. Marc… thank you for always texting me back and always caring so much about animals. And just a reminder, @animalhopeandwellness can always use donations and support. Feels good to know that this animal will have a chance. Last photo is with his rescuer. Thank you Ellie. #ahaw
