Christel Khalil Instagram – Normally I don’t speak out about too much but this time I have to. This has been going on for too long…I’ve experienced racism first hand, my brothers have, and I’m so thankful for social media. Social media has allowed people to see with their own eyes what has been going on for decades. The injustice is infuriating, it makes you feel helpless. The media choosing to make protesters look like they’re looters is atrocious, our “president” who has continued to openly demonstrate his own racism is atrocious. It is time for us all to stand together and fight for each other. If it doesn’t directly affect you, you cannot be apathetic any longer. I’m glad this insanity is happening, maybe this is what it takes for people to wake up, to go and vote, to be so fed up that there is no other choice than to fight for change. I know its awakened something in me, hopefully it has in you too. Find ways that you can help…it’s time for unity. ✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 #blacklivesmatter. ***Unfortunately because of people’s hatred and ignorance I had to turn off comments on this post.
