Home Actress Freida Pinto HD Photos and Wallpapers April 2022 Freida Pinto Instagram - These past few days have felt heavy. While I have been enjoying being a mama to my sweet Rumi-Ray, there hasn't been a feed or nap time that has gone by without a silent prayer and a long warm embrace to acknowledge just how blessed I am to be holding my child in a space that feels calm and safe. Safe- this is definitely not what millions of mothers in Ukraine feel right now. Chaos and senseless violence is what they have been forced to endure and what separates them for me- sheer luck. It's painful to watch babies being born under so much duress in subways and basements. Mothers desperately looking for food for their children waiting in long queues where grocery stores are running dry. Men who have no choice but to leave their families behind and march into peril knowing well they may not return. This is all just wrong! If the greed, ego, cowardice and total loss of humanity can make some politicians and supposed leaders act in all kinds of deranged ways then let us make sure to use our platforms to highlight and amplify the unity and humanity that the common man is showing today. It may sound so hopeless in theory but think about how much a kind smile, a kind word and a kind act can lighten up your day. There is so much power in kindness and unity that those blinded by hatred, ego and power, unleashing their bombs and guns will never ever come to understand or experience. I wanted to put together a list of some organisations that are doing incredible work on the borders and frontlines of Ukraine. Do please take some time to read about them and participate in whatever way you feel right. Ultimately, this war is not just about Ukraine. What happens there will slowly but surely affect us all, if it hasn't already. Resources will be live on my story for the next 24hrs. They include: Nova Poshta, The Happy Kids Foundation in partnership with the City of Lodz, Poland, The Mila Kunis & Ashton Kutcher Ukraine GoFundMe, Airbnb.org, and Red Cross Ukraine.
