George Harrison Instagram – 60 years ago this month, April 5th, 1962, @thebeatles played a special show at the Cavern “for their fans” presented by the Beatles Fan Club. As a nod to the long running Liverpool fans the band came onstage first in their black leather outfits, and after a break they changed to their new Beno Dorn suits and ties. This was a “going-away” performance before their next Hamburg trip, a seven-week booking at the new Star-Club.
