Debbie Matenopoulos Instagram – Taking your front door from BASIC ➡️ BEAUTIFUL. I had a simple wreath hanging on the door left over from Christmas decorations and I didn’t want to put it away. Every day I would look at it and it would speak to me. It would say please don’t put me back in the boxes in the garage with the others until next year. So I decided I would transform this plain green wreath into a pink showstopper for Valentines Day. I went to the art store and got 6 different colors of pink paint (different shades and different textures), some silk flowers, some butcher paper and some gloves and got to work. After doing a quick test on the back to make sure it would work I started painting away. I became OBSESSED with the hot pink paint. I am definitely going to be using that more this month. The whole project took all of 20 minutes and made such an impact on my front door.
