Michelle Dewberry Instagram – I don’t like to ‘over share’ pictures of my bubba on social media but as many of you will know, the end of my pregnancy and the start of my son’s life were very scary times. As I myself laid in hospital for a month (when I lost all water at 28 weeks) and then as my tiny, tiny baby laid in an incubator on NICU (initially unable to breath independently) for 6 weeks after a very premature emergency c-section, I was absolutely terrified and desperately searched for examples of other people going through this who had ‘happy endings’. I promised that if we got through it all, I would share happy moments of my boy to help give comfort to those who are now in my situation.

So here is our boy at his first nursery session. Was a very emotional moment with some tears (for me, not for him, he wasn’t remotely bothered! 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️).

He is a happy, placid (although god knows where he gets that from!) beautiful, clever, funny, wonderful little boy and we all love him so very much ❤️

We’ve been on such a challenging journey (as I’ve always shared, pregnancy, childbirth and often motherhood isn’t always the happy experience that many paint it to be & I wish more where honest about that) and it means everything to me that things got better and that our boy is happy.

If you’re going through PPROM, pregnancy complications or you’re currently a NICU mama like I was (or a new mum struggling with exhaustion and things like CMPA and reflux etc)- I hope that my updates do as they are intended and bring you a little comfort and perhaps a sense that everything, will be ok xxx
