Jack Duarte Instagram – He you ever felt the walls are closing in? Anxiety can be a matter of circumstance, but definitely options will always come when we change perspective. You know? Thinking that how we feel is due to “something outside of us”, be it someone hurting us or “life just kicking us in the ass” — seeing the problem outside of us just makes us give that “thing” our power. Truly you have the power to make things different; the first step is changing perspective. Feel your breath. Take a second and feel what’s around you: look at the colors around you, name them. Feel your clothes or whatever you can touch. Now feel your breath again, feel it deepen like roots into your legs and through the ground. Put music that you love. An artist you haven’t heard in years?! And then, suddenly things will look different, options will come and —that will make a difference.
