Rain Dove Dubilewski Instagram – LETS DISCUSS- Read CAPTION ⬇️ Do we owe the world a protest? Is the fact that we exist also a valid enough form of resistance? I believe protest is a spectrum- and that we need to give each other the space to do what feels like our own fist to the sky. However sometimes, as anguished or exhausted people we can sometimes suggest that if someone isn’t in the street for our rights at all times then they are not doing enough. That if they are taking things easy or enjoying their life that they are selfish, ignorant, or not actually compassionate people. Or valid activists allies. During this #pridemonth I want us to remind each other to take care of each other, respect individual capacities, not compare activism with a points system, and operate as authentically as possible. Have any advice for those experiencing pressure to take on more than they may feel they can or want to engage in this month? Give them some insight below.
