So sad to hear about the passing of the great David Warner, a truly brilliant actor and a wonderful human being. He gave me such wise, generous and invaluable advice when I was about to play Hamlet, (as a young man he had famously played it to great acclaim) and he regaled us all on the set of Mad Dogs with irreverent and hilarious stories that still have me laughing now. He was bloody funny. And of course we got to act with him, and for that I’ll be eternally grateful, to be able to watch someone that good, up close, was a privilege and a joy. ❤️ A lovely man. Rest in peace David x

RIP The brilliant Antony Sher. I Had the pleasure of seeing him onstage many times over the years. He was also an incredible artist and writer, his books on the Shakespearean characters he played are a must read, but he really was one of the greatest stage actors I’ve ever seen. A huge inspiration, a huge talent. Such a great loss. #antonysher
