#Repost @chrisgeth ・・・ And that’s a wrap! BIG NEWS about BIG LAKE! You may recognize the great @hederjon in this pic. People who have followed my career may know that eleven years ago I was in a show called Big Lake and took over a role Jon stepped away from. I can’t believe we kept this secret for so long but we just finished filming Big Lake Season Two for @comedycentral – it’s actually called “Big Lake Season Two: Into the Josh Franklin-verse” and is an insane premise presupposing that there was a season one that aired where Jon played Josh Franklin and an alternate timeline where the one you saw me in existed and now they have smashed together and co-exist after my version of the show came out and bombed. Kind of a blend of sci fi/superhero writing tropes dealing with a wild comedic swing about a decade old three camera sitcom no one remembers. It’s totally crazy and inside baseball but also somehow more accessible than the original and surprisingly heartfelt. I applaud Comedy Central for going for it, it’s the kind of risky and forward thinking chance most networks don’t have the guts to take these days. Can’t believe we managed to keep this one out of the trades!
