And that’s a wrap! BIG NEWS about BIG LAKE! You may recognize the great @hederjon in this pic. People who have followed my career may know that eleven years ago I was in a show called Big Lake and took over a role Jon stepped away from. I can’t believe we kept this secret for so long but we just finished filming Big Lake Season Two for @comedycentral – it’s actually called “Big Lake Season Two: Into the Josh Franklin-verse” and is an insane premise presupposing that there was a season one that aired where Jon played Josh Franklin and an alternate timeline where the one you saw me in existed and now they have smashed together and co-exist after my version of the show came out and bombed. Kind of a blend of sci fi/superhero writing tropes dealing with a wild comedic swing about a decade old three camera sitcom no one remembers. It’s totally crazy and inside baseball but also somehow more accessible than the original and surprisingly heartfelt. I applaud Comedy Central for going for it, it’s the kind of risky and forward thinking chance most networks don’t have the guts to take these days.
