I think of this man. An #actor #comedian who came from a minority group in #ukraine (Jewish) elected with 70% of the vote, who when the sh** hit the fan said “I’m not leaving” I feel so bad for what is happening but whatever happens this man will be what it means to be a true leader and #hero. I pray for a peaceful 🙏🏼resolution but there is zero justification for Russia’s action on a sovereign nation.
Was the highlight of my Career to work with Ray for three years. I was always apologizing to him cause I wanted to hear stories about my favorite film Goodfellas. He always obliged. Was such an amazing actor and great guy! The world lost a great one💔
#juice was released 30 years ago today. I will never forget the day I was told I “got the part” I was so excited I went and shot hoops In the snow crying. I just turned 17 and had gotten so much rejection up to that point I was going to quit acting. I ran through the rain with my headshot to get the audition, arriving as Jacki Brown was closing the office door. I handed her my headshot, got the audition and the rest is history.. I often think if one little thing went wrong that day, I would still be in #queens with broken dreams.. never give up.. always believe in yourself unconditionally.. even when your dreams seem crazy❤️. Today my condolences to the families of the two @elmontepolice officers who were ambushed and gave their lives for their communities. With all the anti-police sentiments these days. Remember these men and woman, often people of color are willing to give their lives for complete strangers. When the criminals feel free to shoot/kill police… we as a society are in big trouble and need drastic change.
