Never could have imagined I would one day do a Top Gun Maneuver in a fighter jet when I was a kid in Queens
This man @ernest_dickerson changed the entire course of my life. He gave me my first part as #radames in the film #juice. Without that part, my life would have turned out so different. Blessed to finally work with him again 30 years later.

FUND RAISER..(link in bio)AGAINST ALL ODDS.. East LA’s Garfield High School wins first City Championship since 1997!! I never do fundraisers but this story touched my heart in such a special way. Help me raise money so they can buy their championship rings! These kids have overcame many obstacles that have been thrown at them, they were forced to play all of their games away because they don’t even have a baseball field at their school. They had to borrow fields to practice. They had to play with used equipment, uniforms from the previous years. Some kids traveled two hours a day by bus to be apart of the program and also be at the weight room by 6:45am before school. The majority of the kids are first generation Americans. Their hard work and determination lead them to win the first school championship at Dodger Stadium since 1997 AGAINST ALL ODDS! What most people don’t know including myself is that public schools receive very limited funds for their multiple sports teams. Leaving it up to the students and parents to fundraise for a lot of the teams necessities, which go beyond the funds provided by the school(team meals, snacks, awards banquets, etc) I was disappointed to learn that the most important activities to steer some of our kids on the right path, get limited funds from the public school system. Often leaving schools in less wealthy areas to scrape whatever they can, to provide for their kids and their school sports teams! When we talk about giving kids the best opportunities to succeed in life, it starts at school and most importantly through school sports programs! An even bigger accomplishment at Garfield is that all six Varsity seniors are going to college (Berkeley, 2 UC San Diego, UC Davis, Cal State Dominguez Hills, ELA College) next year! HELP ME REWARD GARFIELD HIGH SCHOOL FOR A JOB WELL DONE!
