Amanda Zhou Instagram – Loving the good vibes🌺

Amanda Zhou Instagram – So I have been away for awhile because almost two years ago, my mother passed on to another life. I have been on and off about posting this but I feel the need to today.

From taking care of her, stopping work, forcing milestones so she can be a part of, watching her liveliness go away but still trying to fight, to losing myself since she started getting sick, unrelated to covid. It was do or die for me while being slightly numb for myself. It’s like I started the grieving process right then and there.

After falling real hard, I had some time to think about what really matters to me in life. I took some time away from social media, took one step at a time with work, focused on healing and loved ones (thank you for being here, wouldn’t have made it today without you guys) and disassociated with anything to do with her departure but rather, want to keep celebrating her.

Dear Mama, still healing and I don’t know if the hurt will ever go away but after these couple of years, I feel like I understand your heart even better now and I wish you could enjoy some of the things with me right now physically but I know you are always with me. You were an incredible healer and one hell of a woman. I love you and Happy Birthday. Hope you are having a dance party somewhere with your deadly cute laugh. Xx
