Here’s my daily dose of beauty that I wanted to share 🌳Lately I’ve been making it a priority to seek out sources and moments of beauty at least once a day. I think after spending months of being indoors at my desk alone took a toll on my spirits and I realised in the aftermath that getting outside to admire the beauty in the world is just something my soul needs. We often cheapen and degrade beauty by fixing it in our minds as being synonymous with cold, hard, impossible, physical perfection but to me beauty has a transcendent quality. I haven’t always honoured this need as I still sometimes dismiss it as frivolous or self-indulgent, that there are more important things to do, but honestly, beauty restores and uplifts my soul in a way that is intangible, inexplicable and deep.
