Evelyn Edwards Instagram – If have found it incredibly difficult to have absolutely any motivation or compunction to post anything at all. My sorrow is palpable. Sometimes I cry spontaneously at random intervals during the day. When the men from 18-60 were told they had to stay in Ukraine I thought – “what if my sweet incredible husband had to do that?” We talked about it. The reality of this war is heartbreaking and unfathomable. It is not lost on me that I post pictures and videos and stories of places that were built by men and regimes who used them to further their own political aims. Structures made for the rich often on the backs of the poor. History repeats itself. I walked down these hallowed halls and this idea reverberated throughout my entire body. We think we are different, and we would never!, and how barbaric they were back then! “What silly silly things they believed!” We say. And here we are. We stand with you Ukraine- there are no words for your bravery and courage. If you can or you are inspired to- donate, write your local government.
