Justin Baldoni Instagram – This is devastating and heartbreaking. The singular goal of the #Bahai faith is the oneness of humanity. The belief that as Baha’u’llah says we are “The fruits of one tree and the leaves of one branch”. And to end prejudices of all kinds. Our work starts within and our beliefs are NEVER forced on others. It’s a loving, accepting and non-judgmental faith and it’s followers are kind, humble and non political. And yet somehow The Bahai’s are a threat to power in places like Iran. The Iranian regime has once again launched a sweeping crackdown on its Baha’i community, a long-persecuted religious minority in Iran with over 300,000 members and over seven million around the world. Dozens of Baha’i’s have been arrested and their properties forcefully destroyed, according to residents and rights groups. Iran’s Baha’i community has long faced persecution and discrimination because the government does not recognize our faith. You can’t even go to college if you are a Bahai. This has to stop. Justin Baldoni Instagram – This morning I ran for 15 minutes. To many that might seem like a warm-up, to me it was like climbing a mountain. But I did it. And I feel amazing. When my alarm went off this morning I wanted to keep sleeping. I knew I could i’ve gotten another 25 minutes of sleep. No one in the house was awake and it was so tempting. And while sleep is the most important thing we can give our bodies last night I told myself I wanted to run when I woke up. This morning what was more important to me, wasn’t getting an extra 25 minutes of sleep, it was keeping a promise to myself and getting a small win on the board. And doing it with joy. Right now I feel far better than I would have had I slept in and not moved my body. I feel so grateful. I hope you can find one small thing to do today that maybe you have been resisting or procrastinating. We all have to start somewhere. Find your small win today. You are enough! And you know what… I am too.
