Yesterday we said goodbye to my father Rod Wilson for the last time. Dad took his final breath at home with Mom by his side. He had been struggling with his health for sometime and yesterday he found his peace. My father was and always will be my hero, I was blessed to be raised by a wonderful man who had so much love for his family. I know my Dad loved me, as he loved all of his children, and that he was very proud of us. I know he passed knowing we love him and are proud of him as well. So much of me is my father, he introduced me to comedy, sparked my love of music and most importantly taught me love and compassion for others. I wish I could hug him one more time, I wish I could have one more conversation with him, I wish we could share one last laugh but there is truly never enough time. I will miss him forever. Rest In Peace Dad

A year ago was the worst day of my life. Maresa and I were supposed to drive I to the city to visit my parents, I woke up to a call from my mother saying not to hurry, Dad was gone, he had passed peacefully that morning. He had been ill for a while yet it still seemed so sudden, I had no way of knowing the last time I saw him would be the last time. I love you Dad, I wish you were still here.

Moose is my very first dog and I am super impressed by this little man. He’s been with us for less than a week and this 10 week old pup has learned his name, comes when called 9 out of 10 times and has almost mastered the sit command. Plus he is so cuddly!

This is my Golden Grappler @travis_huckabee shirt. Travis went out of his way to send me his shirt asking only that I please wear it in one of my posts.
