Ali Bastian Instagram – Didn’t realise it was #worldbreastfeedingweek Timing! This is from a couple of nights ago when kind of unexpectedly and expectedly we had our last breast feed after nearly two and a half years! Such mixed emotions. Sorry the video is so dark! Just felt the desire to capture some of the ambivalence of the moment. Mixed feelings that I’m still riding out, as is my little one. In her magical, little person wisdom, she knew it was the end of the road but she still cries for mummy milk in her vulnerable moments which is hard… I’m there for her through it – hopefully a billion other ways. Ahhhhh motherhood ❤️
Ali Bastian Instagram – Walked in on my husband hosting a zoom editing meeting for his film with Isla on his lap the other day – not an unusual scene in our house! She often perches on his desk drawing on his white board whilst he is working and he NEVER apologises to people he is working for it… because this is the way life is and this is how we get s**t done! We love you @davidcomahony ❤️ The juggle of two freelance, creative parents is real!! I couldn’t do it without my partner in crime.
