Mela Murder Instagram – In 2016 when I was pregnant with my Amethyst I never anticipated being a single mother. Ever. I was terrified of being left with the sole responsibility of caring and providing for a child, I didn’t think I had that kind of power and resilience in me and as each month passed and eventually my girl was born and how deeply and beautifully her existence impacted my life completely for the better as gratifying and profound and meaningful our connection is. I still felt the burden of sadness from the reality of single motherhood I felt so alone and so isolated. I knew I needed village I looked for resources and there was none. I knew if I wanted this space of safety I would need to create it. So I did and here we are. This is what the power of activated action and love looks like. We did this!
