1. Pahalgam
August is perfect weather -moderately chilly but not cold.
2. Kodaikanal
Get lost in the monsoon mist and fog!
3. Munnar
Rain ☔️ but very pleasant temperatures and so green!
4. Mawsynram
Traveling to the wettest place in August is an adventure.
5. Kanyakumari 
Watch sunrise and sunset from the same point.
6. Coorg
Beauty in full bloom

This is called Sadhya or Feast Menu in Kerala @theleelakovalam 

Karingali Vellam ( Herbal Water)
Karingali is the bark of a tree that is dried and stored . A little bit is put in the water and boiled good for digestion. 

Salt
Balances individual flavors. *Basically to do what a salt is supposed to do.* 

Rasakadali Pazham 
Yellow Banana from Kerala eaten at the end of a meal. 

Sharkara Varaty 
Jaggery coated banana chips adding sweetness, crunch & munch *like how you all add to my life*

Naranga Achar – Lime Pickle

Pulli Inji – Ginger and Imli Chutney

Nurukku Manga Achar 
Homemade raw mango pickle 

Vellerika Pacchadi: Orange Madras cucumber and coconut in a mustard spiked yoghurt gravy

Beetroot Pacchadi
The sweetness of beetroot and coconut with mustard and homemade yoghurt.

Vendakka Kichadi:
Fresh cow milk yoghurt, grated coconut, and mustard
garnished with deep-fried crunchy okras

Kondattam 
Fried curd chilly. *Probably the best 3 word sentence ever*

Kalan
Raw plantain, yoghurt and coconut-based gravy that enhances the taste.

Avial
Medley of vegetables and grated coconut mix.

Olan (Pumpkin and Cowpea Curry)
A light,mild curry with coconut milk, curry leaves and cowpeas. Olan is said to be the humblest of dishes and a palate cleanser.

Chemba Rice
Loval rice served hot to start a sadhya

Parippu (Dal)
Thick dal cooked with coconut & minimal spices

Ghee
A spoonful in the dal is the best combination

Palakkadan Sambar 
Freshly ground sambar powder and roasted coconut is used in this distinctive Kerala-style
Sambar

Tomato Rasam
Comforting and homey Rasam, perfect for season changes.

Pineapple Pullisherry : coconut and yoghurt with the goodness of sweet

Ada Pradaman:
Rice flour batter rolled out on banana leaf like pasta, steamed cut into squares cooked with coconut milk & jaggery

Pal Payasam
Payasam is slow cooked in cow milk for over two hours in a uruli to get a rose hue and the desired creaminess

Gothambu Payasam
Broken wheat cooked with milk & Jaggery

Sambaram
Buttermilk spiced with spices that aid digestion
