Sorry to be a buzz kill. But what we do with the flags tomorrow is what will tell more about how much we respect our country and the 75 years of independence.
Will our freedom fighters be proud when they see our roads and streets tomorrow?
How will we dispose these flags? Will it cause harm to our environment? Is it made of plastic?
Tomorrow will tell how patriotic we truly are.
Happy Independence Day! I love My India 🇮🇳 And I want to see a green clean India. I am sure that’s what all our freedom fighters would have wanted too ❤️🇮🇳

Can you name some more Twinning Destinations?
I’m in Kovalam and I met a couple from the USA and they said to me, this place is like Hawaii and I was like but the water is not as green. And they said yes but the Indian hospitality makes up for it 🙂

Is Kodaikanal worth visiting? – so many of you have been asking me.
Here’s my answer.
Yes Definitely, especially this time of the year. The weather is Perfect!!!
The scenic views, the delicious south food the peaceful atmosphere, Kodaikanal is 100 percent worth visiting!
Ditch the touristy route and try these things
1. Can skip the Kodai lake and try the Mannavanur Lake. There’s a guy there who takes people on these Coracle Spinning Boat Rides!
Must try, I felt like I was at an amusement park 😂
2. Definitely go for a drive to
the Poombarai Village. The views just before you get there are just spectacular!
3. Go for a walk in the Pine Forest. Please do not eat random mushrooms 🍄 they can be poisonous!
4. Visit the Tamara hotel for some fun and games. They have all kinds of games there from Chess to Giant Snakes and Ladders to Fooseball to Archery 🏹
Have a cup of tea in their garden. And chill by the fireplace at night! You could just stay at Tamara. It’s special! It even has a heated pool. @thetamarakodai 💋

Let’s find a solution please!!!
I try to understand why people consume so much plastic without being embarrassed or feeling guilty, I can’t seem to find the answer.
Much like I still can’t find the answer to why people eat pineapple on pizza or ketchup with eggs. Khair, eating that is still an acceptable crime but using plastic is just not okay.
This plastic was collected in one day at the checkpoint in Kodaikanal before entering the Pine Forest and still even after all the checking there were plastic wrappers in the Pine Forest !!
Hoping for the day all of this changes and the only thing unacceptable we do is eat pineapple on pizzas.
I always carry my own bottle when I travel and fill it up at restaurants and hotels whenever I get a chance. Perhaps you can do the same???

The Birdman is in trouble. His purpose is in danger.
His landlord wants him to move out so that the building can go into re development. Mr Sekar does not want to move, who will feed the parrots? Do you have any suggestions how he can keep his home?
The Birdman also has a huge vintage camera 📸 collection, he worked for years as a camera repairman. He is hoping the government hears about him and turns his home into a museum so he can keep his home and continue to feed the parrots 🦜 Do you think this is possible? Suggestions?

A Ship 🚢 which is a Church. I found this when I was on my road trip through Kerala in Thrissur. I was traveling solo, lost and looking for a temple but I found this church. What a discovery!! Noah’s arc church ⛪️
And that’s what travel is all about. Not being rigid, going off the beaten path and finding something new. This is the reason I love travel- to find new experiences and unique stories. What about you?
