Joshua Jackson Instagram – This decision is not shameful. It is not a mistake. Or even a miscarriage of ‘justice’. It is a proclamation. It is a clear statement of the values held by the Kentucky Attorney Generals’ office. A declaration of their the beliefs about whose life matters. About who is truly held accountable, who is held responsible and for whom the protective hand of ‘justice’ is extended.
My heart goes out to Breonnas loved ones. Nothing will ever make whole what was taken from them on March 13.
May her name forever remain a blessing. A righteous declaration of our shared humanity. A call to action.
And may these men who saw her life as disposable be forever tortured by her memory. I sincerely hope they are haunted every minute of their remaining days. They know who they are now. They know what they are. May their shame consume them.
