Alexis Nikole Nelson Instagram – Honey Mushroom (Armillaria sp.) season has begun here in Central Ohio!! One of the first mushrooms I taught myself to ID was the ringless honey, after a mystery chunk of them appeared overnight on a stump near my old house! A tasty treat, but one you have to be careful with, as they have a few look-a-likes! Spore printing is SO IMPORTANT until your eye learns to recognize them (and honestly is just important PERIOD, even when yer seasoned!)
