Alexis Nikole Nelson Instagram – Hackberries!! Honestly, there’s no rush, because they hang on well into the winter! And even get a lil freeze dried when you wait for some cold weather! But I love them and am super excited that some are finally ripe! Hackberries have a thin layer of sweet flesh around a central nut/seed/thing! Some are easy to crönch all the way through, and some aren’t so try fruit from new trees carefully! I also love them ground up into lil one ingredient energy bars!! And I’m glad I found a tree with low branches that ISNT in an abandoned graveyard 😅🤣
