Juliana Dever Instagram – Do you try to learn any foreign words when you travel?

For me it’s usually a minimum of “hello, goodbye, please, and thank you.”
.
From there I add 1, 2, 3, and if I’m feeling super fresh “where is the bathroom?” Or “do you speak English?”
.
But my brain goes into shutdown after multiple countries (I did 8 countries in a row) and then I start getting tongue tied with my native tongue.
.
This is when it helps to have the best travel buddy ever @rachelleahcohen who goes along my re-naming of currency while in Albania. It felt like we had our own secret language because for sure no one knew what the hell we were talking about 😆.
