Tap-tap like ❤️ ⠀ ⠀ The very first thing you should know is where to look for castings. I beg you, try to pass them right now, don’t wait until you become a brilliant actress in your head to be ready for them. Sometimes things you don’t expect do work and succeed: the sooner you’ll get used to rejections and the casting system, THE BETTER. Look for castings here: ⠀ ⁃ backstage.com; ⁃ LA casting; ⁃ now casting; ⁃ Mandy.com; ⁃ actorsacess.com. ⠀ From my experience, I can say that you just need to take all the roles that suit your type. No need to turn up your nose and think: “F*ck no, if it is not Hollywood, I won’t play in this.” Play. At first just pass EVERYTHING, this will give you: -Experience of being on camera. -Understanding how filming actually works. Contacts! It is the most important thing in acting. + You will understand your strengths and work on your flaws (for example, it’s hard for me to show some positive emotions, I’ve understood this and I am working on it). So, when you get that very big, dream role, you will already be experienced and nail it. ⠀ And what is crucial to understand: rejection is okay. If you get it, it doesn’t mean that you are a bad actress, it means that the director sees another person in this particular role. Try again, again and again. Polina Pushkareva Instagram – Summer 2022: my goals, plans and expectations Tap-tap like ❤️ Summer is my favorite season of the year. While everyone is trifling through the summer time, I use this time to achieve my goals. And that is what I am gonna do this summer. 1. Acting I want to resume personal sessions with a coach, send auditions to different companies and look for new roles. My goal is to get at least 5 roles by the end of this summer. By the way, if you’re interested, we can start a challenge on development in acting. Let me know in the comments 😉 2. International recognition I used to have an account in Russian and an audience from the former USSR countries, but I wanna grow internationally all over the world. So my task is to create 30 TikTok accounts for different countries and post daily on them. Moreover, by the end of the summer I wanna get 300k followers on each TikTok account, and 2 million followers – on Instagram. 3. Health I want to take care of my mental and physical health. I will go to the gym, swimming pool, and practice yoga. I also want to go back to sessions with a therapist. Here my task is to reach the physical and moral comfort of Zen level. 4. Balance between overachieving and relaxation I wanna go on dates all summer long, meet new people and drive to the Hamptons.
