TIADA PERSARAAN MELAKUKAN IBADAH

I am back in Fukuoka to attend the Japan Future Leaders School.
For the past 19 years I’ve been invited to address a group of young people, pre-University students.
This time, I shared my thoughts on ‘Can War Be Abolished? A New Milestone for Peacemaking and Our Future Generation Can Contribute’.
I have always been of the opinion that War is about killing people and destroying everything that we have built.
With war, no one achieves anything – neither the winner nor the loser. I see war as something very primitive that uncivilised people promote.
There will always be conflict between nations. Uncivilised people always choose to fight each other. War is not a solution to any conflict.
Can war be abolished? Yes we can. It is important that the young people who inherit this world must understand war is not an option at all to solve problems. Perhaps with this understanding, future wars can be avoided.
Conflicts must be solved through negotiations, arbitration and reference to the world court.
I also listened to presentations from participants about peace projects. It seems that they have been studying wars, and peace, and they have suggestions on how to maintain peace.
They have many ideas and I may use some of the ideas in future talks that I may give to other people.
It is important for future leaders to be exposed to the problem early when they are still young so that they do not go wrong and perhaps become a good leader some day. Global Arena, Fukuoka

Fukuoka-shi, Fukuoka, Japan

After the session with young students at Japan Future Leaders School, I had the opportunity to talk to young entrepreneurs and young professionals from Kyushu-Asia Institute of Leadership (KAIL).
I shared my views on “How Future Generation Should Change the Society in Global World After COVID-19”.
Yes, the way we live our lives and how we work have changed.
Those who understand new technologies will prosper in this world post-pandemic.
People also must know how to adapt to technologies and to rebuild the economy after COVID-19.
We have to think out of the box and must be creative and innovative.
The world now is the market which we must take advantage to grow our business.
I also received questions from participants about the state of the economy, current issues, politics and social matters.
I hope they will grow up to become responsible business and corporate leaders who will contribute not only to the economy of their country, but to the world. Global Arena, Fukuoka
