High above Plaka on Milos. Waiting for that sunset.
Milos sunset selfie.
Fun in the Santorini sun.
Beachside in #Greece.
Dropped by to see a man who changed my life by casting me in #Shameless! The one and only @john_frank_levey_ has written a new book #RightfortheRole. Can’t wait to read it!
Make sure to check it out!
Happy Birthday to my one and only. Fills my heart with gratitude that I get to spend my life with you. ❤️
More Sardinia. As in, give me more! 😁
Hey you…#ReadAFknBook!
First things first, I absolutely loved this book.
Ryan Holiday is a great writer that combines a ridiculously deep knowledge of stoicism with relatable, modern examples and stories that make the philosophy accessible and easy to digest for basically any reader.
I particularly enjoyed Holiday’s framing of ego as something that separates us from…everything. Our friends, our family, our potential, our very selves and in truth, reality itself. Ego gets in between us and all of this. So learn how to deal with it.
It’s a quick, fantastic read that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. Below are a few of my favorite quotes, although I had a hard time narrowing it down to only these…
“The pretense of knowledge is our most dangerous vice, because it prevents us from getting any better. Studious self-assessment is the antidote.”
“Pride blunts the very instrument we need to own in order to succeed: our mind. Our ability to learn, to adapt, to be flexible, to build relationships, all of this is dulled by pride.”
“Humility engenders learning because it beats back the arrogance that puts blinders on. It leaves you open for truths to reveal themselves. You don’t stand in your own way. . . . Do you know how you can tell when someone is truly humble? I believe there’s one simple test: because they consistently observe and listen, the humble improve. They don’t assume, ‘I know the way.’”
Trevi Fountain in Rome.
Loved this fountain and the whole vibe around it. We dropped a couple coins in along with some wishes and watched a guy propose to his lady who accepted to huge public applause. It was great.
Amazing fact we didn’t know at the time, a charity uses all the coins thrown into the fountain (about 1.5 million euros annually) to help Rome’s homeless population and families experiencing financial hardships.
Awesome.
#Sardinia #Italy was one of the most naturally beautiful places I’ve ever seen. Stunningly clear turquoise water and majestic cliffs of lush green that frame these incredible beaches. It’s basically paradise.
Plus they ALSO have gelato so I really hope we get to go back.

The Colosseum in Rome is a place I’ve always wanted to visit and was spectacular.
It’s a strange feeling to walk around somewhere with so much history and insane to consider the technical brilliance the Roman Empire had in order to actually build this.
Fun fact that kind of blew my mind, the Roman’s would sometimes flood the Colosseum for mock naval battles.
I guess I’m saying that all in all, it made me feel kind of lazy.
#Rome has been on my wish list for as long as I can remember and it was incredible. Everything is beautiful, the food is amazing and the city is constantly buzzing with life. Loved it. Can’t wait to go back and try to eat my weight in gelato all over again.

Dusk in Santorini.
The houses all along this side of the island give off a beautiful glow when the sun goes down. Gives the impression that it’s just starting to wake up.
Klima is this great old fishing area on Milos.
All these colorful fisherman homes called Syrma houses are right on the water.
They’re these boat garage-like structures with a living space above the ocean “parking spot” that have all been converted into rental spaces. We didn’t stay here but really loved the area.

Santorini in the sun.
Did I mention that Santorini ALSO has amazing gelato? Fyi in case you were wondering. 🍦
Sunset in Sardinia.
I loved this island so much. Really hope we get to go back one day.
More Milos for your Monday!
#Milos island in Greece was another place of absolute baffling beauty. Incredible beaches, food, walks and sunsets.
This was taken from the top of an amazing old castle in Plaka. Every evening crowds of people all watch the sunset together and applaud when it disappears behind the horizon like the end of a play. It was a truly magical place and another photo I really love.
Some more magic from Santorini.
The island is peppered with these incredible blue domed churches, some of which date back to the 1800s.
#Greece is another country that I’ve always wanted to visit and #Santorini was yet another place that’s almost too beautiful to believe. It’s like walking through a picturesque photo everywhere you go. Incredible.
Amazing food and jaw dropping views like this all over. I can’t wait to go back.
