A Saturday spent reading is a beautiful thing.
Fundamentals Ten Keys to Reality by Frank Wilczek is an accessible introduction to physics and understanding how we know what we know about the universe we inhabit. If you’re like me and tend to think of fields like physics as a bit intimidating to approach, this book is a great read.
My favorite quote from the book:
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” – Albert Einstein
I definitely recommend.

Have some really exciting news to share with you all soon. In the meantime, here’s looking at you #NewYork!
Finally made it out into #nature yesterday for some much needed soul medicine.
It was a good reminder to not let too much time pass without getting away from it all.
What are your favorite ways to turn off the hustle and bustle of everyday life and recharge?

Thanks for all the birthday love everyone! Here’s a pic from my NFL combine tryout.
Book time!
Apollo’s Arrow by Nicholas A Christakis is an insightful, engaging, and necessary read for understanding Covid-19 and our shared experience over the past two-plus years. With social media offering an endless supply of (mostly) uninformed and usually very loud opinions, Apollo’s Arrow was a grounded and profoundly informative read.
My favorite quote from the book:
“The Covid-19 pandemic also demonstrated, in very material ways, how interconnected we all are and how the commonweal is only as well off as it’s weakest members.”
A very good read.

Read a fkn book!
I have read sadly few classics and literally no #Hemingway so I decided to finally get around to both and dig into The Old Man and the Sea.
Gotta say, I loved this book. Hemingway has a great raw, punchy writing style. I think he’s got a solid career ahead of him.
Anyways, this is definitely another rec if your looking for a good read. Turns out it’s a classic for a reason. Who knew?

In #solidarity on the picket line with the #WGA fighting for fair contracts!
Without writers, we really don’t have anything.

Back from our five year anniversary trip to Europe! What an adventure. Can’t wait to share some of it with you all.
Apparently, the best place to randomly run into old #LA friends is in #NYC.
So good seeing you MPT!
The one and only Michael Patrick Thornton absolutely crushing #Macbeth on #Broadway with #DanielCraig and #RuthNegga. If you’re in town, don’t miss it.
#TheRedLine reunion.
Thanks to everyone at the Wythe Hotel for an amazing stay in Brooklyn!
I don’t usually do these kinds of posts but the entire staff at the Wythe went so above and beyond for me during my stay that I would be remiss not to give you all a shout out!
You’re the best. Thanks for everything.
