Apollo’s Arrow by Nicholas A Christakis is an insightful, engaging, and necessary read for understanding Covid-19 and our shared experience over the past two-plus years. With social media offering an endless supply of (mostly) uninformed and usually very loud opinions, Apollo’s Arrow was a grounded and profoundly informative read. My favorite quote from the book: “The Covid-19 pandemic also demonstrated, in very material ways, how interconnected we all are and how the commonweal is only as well off as it’s weakest members.” A very good read.
