When I take care of my body, I take care of my soul. When I take care of my mind, I take care of my body. When I take care of my soul, I take care of my mind. I am one.
Exercise, for me, looks so different now than it did in my 20s or 30s, and @ericgoodmanft is a HUGE part of that.
I have always let my body guide me to the activity that will best serve it, but when I turned 40, I was a bit lost (yes, pun accepted 😏). I knew my body was telling me to slow down, to be gentler with it, but I also knew that exercise would be more important than ever as I entered middle life and my body started to age.
Foundation training has given me a more aligned, more supportive body than I have ever known in my adult life. @foundationtraining isn’t just exercise, it’s knowledge and understanding of how my body works and what it needs. It dives into the minutia of the inner workings of my muscles, tendons, and joints. It gives me awareness that I carry with me in everything I do. And I can do it from home through their on-line app ftstreaming.com…I exclusively use the “workouts with the doc”……… “the doc” being @ericgoodmanft
I am not being asked or paid to share this with you, it is just coming out of the gratitude I feel for what Eric and Foundation Training has given me…a new lease on life and a healthy way to care for my body throughout my “second act” journey.
This weekend I was being ripped around behind a motor boat on an inner tube at neck breaking speeds and was doing silly “acrobatics” on that same tube. It was so much fun and I had more confidence in my body’s ability to support me and bounce back from any injury than I have had in years. Such a gift 💫
