Dreama Walker Instagram – I’ll keep this short because I know today is already too much for many of us.
11 years ago today, I spoke to my mother for the last time. There isn’t a day that goes by that she doesn’t cross my mind. That I don’t think to call her and tell her a funny sorry or think everything would be 1000% better if I just had one of her hugs. There are flash floods of hurt, anger and despair knowing she will never meet her grandchildren, etc. but then there are rainbows.
Moments where they laugh or look just like her and I know that she lives on. Through them and through me. Wherever you are in your grief, know that there is beauty ahead. Somewhere, even in strange ways, it’s there if you look for it. 💔
*Brighton is wearing a dress my mom bought for my cousin’s daughter. The only item of clothing from her that my girls have.
