I smiled politely because I knew he was going to say something like “Haven’t I seen you before” or “You look like someone I know”. But then he made me smile even harder as he exclaimed without hesitation, “LATIKA!” It’s been 14 years since Slumdog Millionaire premiered worldwide and a lot has changed except for the fact that I’m still recognized as Latika.
