Lisa Ray Instagram – For much of my life I have been drawn to the silent places, the spaces that demand you still yourself and go inside. Today, firmly ensconced in the life of a householder with a beautiful family, I’ve realized the real practise is in the world. Life is messy and delicious and difficult and chaotic, and I still need to go on retreats to find my inner chill and calm, but man, the work is being present in the world. Getting provoked again and again. Knowing it. And showing up for it again and again. This is my Sunday love letter to all of us WIPs (As a friend put it – householder yoga is the supreme practise of being human)
