Talk about Instagram vs. reality! I wanted to show off my cool custom @pumppeelz patch cover on my @dexcom so I took the boys to the park. Cut to an hour later I was dealing with an urgent low. This is a real #seediabetes moment. It’s a good lesson that your glucose doesn’t always cooperate, and you gotta roll with the punches.

I definitely chose the right team for the patch since they help me so much through my lows. Thanks Dexcom for the alert so I could treat the low before it got worse!
