December 17th is not only my Pro MMA debut, with @fccmma, but is also my first fight at bantamweight and marks the third weight class I’ll have competed in in combat sports.
Having to watch what I eat, whilst making sure I consume enough for recovery, has helped me focus on what I need versus what I want.
That’s a distinction we’re not always honest with ourselves about.
And what I need is cake. And coffee. And maybe a good book, too.
