Feel that our past defines us, that we can’t escape it, that it holds us back, burnt us,creates a fear,a feeling of insecurity or loneliness.
Focus on the now, on today. Every moment is a sliding door opportunity for you to improve or change your day and even your life for the better.
Who and what makes you happy? Chase it, hold onto it, embrace it. If it hurts you,makes you feel sad,insecure,angry or jealous, then let it go, it isn’t helping you stay in the light. Stop worrying about what everyone else has or is doing, focus on you.
We all have dreams and some admittedly arnt attainable but many moments are. They are easy,attainable for all. Take time out of each day for yourself. I say it over and over, music,movies, tv,books, activities, animals, nature,friends and family are all moments you can take for yourself to improve your mood or day.
We are all here because we made it through some shit, some bad times happened but didn’t break us. It hurt but you got through it,take heart from your own strength to have come all this way, through all you have.
Life isn’t a competition, you’ve already won,you are still here fighting on and have the opportunities to continue and make more moments and memories. Don’t waste it watching others live their lives,living through their moments. I post here rarely because I’m too busy trying to live my life and make MY moments. We are all the same no matter our race,religion,gender,nationality and more, we are all equally just trying to get through our days with a little more happiness than we had yesterday. I’m working on it everyday, sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don’t but I keep trying each day to be better.
