Home Actress Carson Meyer HD Photos and Wallpapers December 2022 Carson Meyer Instagram - ✨Lou Isla Rice ✨ Our girl is here! After 15 hours of roaring labor she was born into her daddy’s hands in our home. It was the most challenging and divine experience of my life. We were held by two wise women whose trust in physiological birth guided us through our dream birth experience. Ten months ago when we called this soul into our hearts I felt the presence of a baby girl and although we waited to be surprised, I was certain throughout my pregnancy that she was the one joining us. Although I’ve known her for many moons now, she’s beyond my wildest dreams and more beautiful then I could have ever imagined! Shout out to her dad, love of my life, who has taken such great care of us and is endlessly dedicated to tending to the health and happiness of his Scorpio girls.

Carson Meyer Instagram – Three Weeks Postpartum 🦋

Feeling incredibly grateful to be holding this divine being in my arms and to have the support we need to thrive during this sacred time.

I believe that there are four pillars of postpartum recovery; Nourishment, Rest, Touch and Support. Postpartum looks different for everyone and needs are unique to each family. Here’s how we’ve been navigating our transformation.

– NOURISHMENT: Healthy meals (mostly in bed) to support lactation and recovery from @wearechiyo and home-cooked by the lovely @wombtowaddle from @motherbees cookbook.

– REST: For us, rest means not hosting until we feel ready, putting work aside and bed sharing (which is so important to me it will be getting it’s own post. )

– SUPPORT: Wonderful friends, the best partner and a long list of birth workers to turn to makes all the difference. This week I zoomed with @bellibind and @allisonoswald. I made a long resource list that you can find on my website of all of the best doulas, lactation consultants and more. I’ve leaned on most of these people as a doula and throughout my own pregnancy and postpartum.

– TOUCH: Many people think that a postpartum doula is there to care for baby. Although that may be the case for some, my postpartum doula cares for me so I can show up for Lou. She provides healing touch through body work that calms and resets my nervous system.

Our culture, economic model and healthcare system are not set up to support the optimal health of mom and baby after birth, making it very challenging for many women to receive proper care.
In the US these pillars are seen as luxuries, but in other cultures they are viewed as necessities. There are many ways families can set themselves up for success and @littlehoneymoney is one of them! It’s such a brilliant concept that is changing the landscape of how we show up for new parents and has been such a gift to us!

Carson Meyer Instagram – Thank you @cbattan and @elleusa for coming out to NC to chat birth with me! I feel honored to be included in this month’s issue and most importantly I’m thrilled that a conversation about home birth gets a special spotlight in ELLE!

As I prepare to embark on my own birth journey I feel extra grateful for the strong women who have trusted me to support them and allowed me the privilege of witnessing birth outside the paradigm we’ve been so conditioned by and accustomed to. By sharing their stories they’ve inspired so many women to reclaim their trust, autonomy, power and voice regardless of where they choose to birth.

…

“She neither sensationalizes nor sugarcoats anything related to childbirth. ‘I try to help women really understand what the process is,’ she tells me. ‘I think we’re raised to believe that [birth] is a broken thing that you need to be saved from. But the more you know about how the process unfolds, the more trust there can be in the process.’”
