At that time Bandra was a forest with a gorgeous 9 hole Golf Course. He had to fight snakes to get to his school - St Stanislaus. What is Bandra today? First they came for our cottages and bungalows and now every second building is getting demolished and redeveloped. Even the roads are being ā€œup gradedā€ Why? Shenaz Treasurywala Instagram – Leave a ā¤ļø for this village in hopes of it becoming an INFLUENCER VILLAGE for the rest of India šŸ‡®šŸ‡³

College Professors, IAS officers and foreign delegates have started coming here to this village to learn about the transformation. So many people are in awe of this model village.

Mr Shanmugam Transformed this village by fighting corruption in and out of Supreme Court and utilising various government grants and schemes. What an incredibly smart man!!!

The Identical houses here are actually Green Houses.
Each home has a solar panel on top of it.
These Green Houses = Self Sufficient & generating renewable energy for self use as well as for the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board.

The longer version of this is on my show on National Geographic India! ;)
