Home Actress Emelie Forsberg HD Photos and Wallpapers January 2023 Emelie Forsberg Instagram - 5,7 ton Co2 was my 2022 carbon footprint. I used WWF´s calculator. Way above a sustainable 🦶🏻. Being an athlete, for sure challenges my vision of how I want to live, accordingly to my values in how to live sustainable. But I have chosen to live this way and I will make the best out of it. We will continue to plan our travels accordingly, to reduce ✈️ as much as possible. If I didn’t work with brands who shared my visions, I´m pretty sure I would have stopped travelling for races a few years ago, especially after our daughters where born. I'm lucky to live my passion and explore my own physical limits, climbing a mountain or running a race. For me the highest priority is to be a good role model for the girls, show them how freaking amazing nature is, connect them to nature, to that cycle of life, as that is for me the most important, we can do; to create a bond to nature, as that will make us take care of it in the way that each person can. So, don´t blame others who open up about their Co2 ( we athletes always get shit about this, as we do travel) don´t blame anyone, but if there´s some actors that can make impact it´s governments and large corporations. I believe in grassroots power and making good choices, that might inspire someone else to make a change, to stand up, to sign a sustainable petition or ask the local supermarket to add more organic, or to make a village compost, or a community garden or, carpool, to run commute to work, or chose being more plant based, buy less, buy second hand, plant a tree. The list is never ending. My 2023 promise is to the little extra at least 1/ week, it can be going plogga, collecting plastic from the sea, sign a petition for a good cause, or anything I mentioned above. 💚
