And this is the location I believe most likely to be the place where Jesus would transfigure and reveal His true Glory to 3 disciples. It would also be here that Peter, James and John would see Jesus talking with Moses and Elijah. Prior to this awesome event that is recorded in the gospels Jesus takes His disciples to Caesarea Philippi which sits at the bottom of this mountain range. From here departing this mountain range Jesus will have a Jerusalem in His sights, which will lead him to his triumphant entry into the city of the great King. But read what David writes about this mountain called Hermon in psalm 133 “A Song of Ascents. Of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard —Aaron’s beard— coming down on the collar of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, coming down upon the mountains of Zion.
