No shame in catching a little shut eye mid party
New York is a rat running across my flip flop in the summertime, getting caught eating a sandwich in a torrential downpour, carrying bikes up my 4 story walk up, getting locked out of said walk up in the middle of the night, sweating my tits off on stage, broken air conditioners, sweating my tits off on the street, late trains, sweating my tits off, R-rated “cat calls”, $30 watermelons?!!??!?, and crying in the streets, the theatre, at home, on public transport, to a stranger, to my mom, to @cadlymack, with @emrellz and presumably with that rat.
I miss you you NYC.

This teen black bear, who I lovingly refer to as Garlic, and I had two run ins this past summer. This being one of them. Garlic looked a little mangled but they still looked better than I did after camping for 6 nights with no shower. Go you Garlic. I hope you’re sleeping well this winter. See you in a few months!
This little man was abandoned late at night at the vet hospital high on drugs. Now he’s living the good life thanks to incredible veterinary technicians like my sistaa and people like my dad and step mom who “can’t OD on dogs”.
