Jennifer Finnigan Instagram – 3 years ago tonight, one of our favorite New Year’s Eves with Bob and Kelly Saget. Oh how bittersweet it is, saying hello to a new year. We welcome leaving this year behind. It was painful in so many ways. All we kept saying this year was how we just wanted the year to end. Now that it’s here, now that we’re ushering in 2023, there’s a deep sense of nostalgia and sadness. But also gratitude. That we had him in our lives, that our kid is moving out of her very challenging, very intense phase, that we are healthy and blessed to have such strong family bonds and friendships. All of this to say….whatever you’re going through tonight, be it melancholy, be it merriment, please turn to the person next to you and hug them. Be kind. Be grateful. Be honest. Feel what you need to feel, and try not to judge yourself and others. Do your best this year. I know I’ll try to. That’s all we can do.
