Being sick is complicated during pregnancy because many over the counter medications are not recommended at this time. When I caught a bad cold recently, my doctor suggested these:
1. Steam inhalation with Vicks 4 times a day. The process should be in through nose, out through mouth, in through mouth, out through nose.
2. Do gargle with warm salt and haldi water 3 times a day if you have a sore throat or a cough.
3. Do Ajwain potli: Roast Ajwain on a hot tawa, put it on a muslin cloth, tie it and inhale the vapours.
4. Rub soles of the feet, chest and back with warm mustard oil infused with garlic, Ajwain and kalonji.
Meanwhile, don’t forget to
1. Get plenty of rest.
2. Drink lot of fluids.
Other things you can do to reduce your risk of getting sick:
1. Wash your hands often
2. Get enough sleep
3. Eat a healthy diet
4 kvoid close contact tamily ossdends wheardhective
5. Wear mask in public areas
6. Be active ome remedies in caption n
7. Reduce stress
