Home Actress Parisa Fitz-Henley HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers February 2023 Parisa Fitz-Henley Instagram - Amazing what a shift in mindset can do. As a child of the Caribbean, raised up between there and Florida, the idea of sitting outside on a frosty morning sounded like an extremely rude thing to do to myself. 😆 But I’ve been listening to (well, binging) @hubermanlab podcast and realizing how important it is for health to get unfiltered morning sun on my face (*safely* in my eyes) and suddenly words like “just bundle your behind up!” come to mind. It’s been so easy for me to feel like some aspects of nature can’t belong to me — lol even my *own* yard. To be honest, trauma has a way of narrowing focus, and if you aren’t even a little traumatized after the last three years please tell me your secret. 😅 It’s been very healing for me to pick my image of this big world apart into pieces and trust that there are parts I can thoroughly enjoy. I’m feeling so grateful this morning for the icy blanket on my yard. It looks like someone spread glitter all over it. I’m grateful for warm shoes (my feet are still cold 😂) and hot beverages. I’m grateful that I can hear the stream in front of me, and the HVAC unit behind me. I’m grateful that social media, with all its challenges, still very much provides a venue for sharing things like this and spreading love and encouragement. If your world is feeling small today, ask yourself if there’s another way to see it. Or ask if there’s another world you can see for a while. Sending you love and saying a prayer right now for whoever sees this. Parisa Fitz-Henley Instagram – My God I laughed till I choked

Video description: A creature resembling a a tiny tan porcupine walks around on a gray couch. When it’s name is called it looks up. It’s actually a Yorkie who has been rubbing itself on the couch causing every hair to stand on end.

Parisa Fitz-Henley Instagram – I made this when I rented in the South. Now I own a little piece of land here and think of what wild things I can encourage the growth of. As Spring is coming fairly soon, consider finding out what ‘weeds’ you might be pulling that you should actually be putting in your salad — or straight into your mouth! My personal favorite of the latter are the chives that grow wild in so many places and can be mistaken for grass. Go to the supermarket, price chives (easily $3-$4 for a tiny amount) and see if you’ll ever mistake them for grass again. 😆 For real, in many places naturally growing greens are being chucked aside so folks can plant more kale and then worry about the weeds messing with it. Lol the weeds are sometimes more nutritious, tasty and they also happen to be FREE. Access to land and fresh food is a social justice issue, a mental and physical health issue, an environmental issue. It’s about our connection to the earth, our ancestors, each other and Self. Believe me, remembering that this planet is a place that offers gifts to everyone can be incredibly healing, even if the gifts aren’t yet noticed by or accessible to all of us. Knowing it reminds me that Mother Earth can have our backs when we let her and that there is sustenance and joy in having hers. 💚 If I get to be home when my yard starts to flourish I’ll try to post pics. Until then, do consider that as long as your soil is healthy (NYC can have high lead content and places all over can have pesticide or other contaminants) a lot of what is ‘stubbornly’ aka naturally, happily, robustly growing around you might be perfect on your plate. 🌱 ✨
