Losing my dad last month was truly a wake up call. Today I received my first colonoscopy 💥💥 and all went well thank God 🙏🏽 Two polyps we’re removed and the doctor reassured me that it was common and not to be concerned. You have a responsibility to yourself and your family to stay healthy and alive to avoid unnecessary hardship. Please take action and do what’s required to avoid Cancer by any means necessary. Unfortunately I lost my Dad @ringgold.tony to cancer Christmas Eve , he has returned to our Heavenly Father where he will rest in eternal peace. For those who knew my relationship with him he was my best friend and my #1 supporter ❤️ He was just a beautiful soul with a huge heart . I wanted to take a moment to thank my TV dad @ernie_hudson for sending my father this beautiful heartfelt message of encouragement to keep fighting and to have faith. His words of sincerity and love truly kept him here with us longer then expected. I have to thank all of my Prayer soldiers for their unconditional love and consistent support during the most challenging time of my life. The daily phone calls and text messages over the last seven months really kept me going strong even when I was having a very challenging time. This incredible act of heroism is absolutely mind blowing ! Sometimes in life we can’t wait for help to come , there will be times when we have to take action and just do what’s necessary at any cost. Today was definitely an incredible moment that I will never forget. Being a class chaperone for my daughters class trip was really a blast. To see her so excited made me truly feel fulfilled ❤️ I was in charge of 5 kids and for the most part they all listened and stuck together. Trying to keep my eyes on them was no easy task to say the least 😂 to see all of these kids smiling and having fun was a great therapy session 🙂

Today was a day of reflection and recognizing that fatherhood can sometimes really be awesome. To watch my daughter smile and yell for her favorite characters was just so heartwarming and rewarding. Life is about building memories that will God willing live on forever . I pray that everyone had a great day surrounded with love and good cheer. But pray for those who are dealing with hardships and those who were alone due to unfortunate circumstances.
