Todd Smith Instagram – HELLO, My new song titled Weekend Parent is OUT. At first, I started writing this song about having divorced parents…but as I spent more time with it, it started to take a turn. And instead of just being about divorced parents, it started shaping itself into being a kid and seeing the world as this beautiful, harmless place. Being a kid and having blinders on, by being protected by your parents, and not seeing how shitty the world can be. As you grow up, you realize how fucked up things were as a kid, and still are. There are also hints about being reluctant to grow up in the song. Growing up is trippy, but I’ve been enjoying it, even though I’m an immature lil bish. Thank you for reading and listening.
